WELD NUTS

Nuts that are designed to be welded around holes that are pre-punched into metal sheets. This provides a firm, fixed nut for a screw or bolt connection. The self locating pilot guides the nuts for automatic or hand feeding and protects the threads from possible weld spatter. Available with plain finish. All Weld Nuts are also available with a prevailing torque feature.

Applications: Markets served include agriculture, auto racing, automotive, aviation, aerospace, computers and medical equipment.

AUTOMATION LOCKNUTS
U.S. AUTOMOTIVE STANDARDS - (STYLE) 1, CLASS 10
U.S. AUTOMOTIVE STANDARDS - (STYLE) 2, CLASS 9
DIN 980V CLASS 8 and 10

The Automation Locknut is precision manufactured on cold and hot forming equipment to ensure a uniform bearing area and chamfered top and to provide consistent prevailing-torque results.

Applications: High volume assembly locknut. The cone shape allows for orientation of locknut for automated assembly. These locknuts are also referred to as: Stover, Unitorque, Crownlock and Autolock. Popular in automotive, industrial and agriculture as a rugged one-piece locknut that withstands severe vibration and shock loads.

FLANGE CONE LOCKNUTS
U.S. AUTOMOTIVE STANDARDS - CLASS 10 / CLASS 9

The cone-style Flange Locknut allows for fast and easy assembly until the locking element is encountered by the mating part. The full body flange and cone top of this locknut provide for additional strength and good appearance in the final product.

Applications: Industrial and commercial applications requiring an oversize bearing surface. Trucking and automotive industries.

FLANGE LOCKNUTS
TOP LOCK - OVAL LOCK - DIN 6923 - CLASS 8 AND 10
CENTER LOCK - DIN 6923 - CLASS 8 AND 9

A low-cost alternative to flange cone nuts. Flange Locknuts are available in Center, Oval and Top Locknut designs with large bearing surface. Available in regular, large and super flange diameters.

Applications: Industrial and commercial applications requiring an oversize bearing surface. Popular in lawn and garden equipment, material handling and truck manufacturing.

All plating types are available for our products, including:

  • phosphate & oil;
  • cadmium;
  • trivalent/hexavalent zinc; and,
